Plus, read all about astronaut Sunita Williams...

She has lived underwater and floated in space, but she’s not a mermaid, an alien, nor a cartoon superhero with special powers. Sunita Williams is an astronaut.
It’s an “extreme” career — one that is full of physical challenges and exciting adventures, and often requires her to wear a 500-pound uniform — and it’s a career she never thought she’d pursue.

How to Make a Samosa
By Riya and Yashmi Shah
Samosas are one of the most Indian appetizers. They can be found in practically every Indian restaurant and store, and make a great afternoon snack. Samosas can be made from scratch or by making your own dough with all purpose flour. The triangle-shaped pastries are then filled with potatoes and peas with a hint of curry and deep fried. Typically, samosas are served with green chilli and cilantro and/or brown date chutney. Here we offer a modified version of this recipe with puff pastry shells.

Ingredients:
- 1 tsp oil
- ½ cup frozen peas
- 4 boiled and chopped potatoes
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 3 sheets of frozen puff pastry
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a bowl, mix the peas, potatoes, salt, pepper, and curry powder to make the filling.
- Cut each sheet of pastry into 3 equal size rectangles, and then cut each rectangle in half.
- Roll each piece of pastry until its double in size.
- Dust it with flour to prevent it from sticking.
- Spoon equal amounts of filling into the center of the pastry.
- Fold it in half and press the edges together.
- Place the pastries on a baking sheet. Bake for 25 minuets until they turn golden brown.
These should make 12-15 samosas. You can serve with tomato sauce.
